Speaker types are used to describe contacts that are associated with sessions. By default the system includes the Speaker Types ‘General’, ‘Keynote’, ‘Panelist’, and ‘Moderator’
Speaker ID – the unique identifier in the database for this speaker type.
Speaker Type – Role of the speaker for the given session
Number Of Contacts – the maximum number of this type of speaker allowed per session.
Delete - Remove this speaker type from the system.
Edit a Speaker Type
Click on the name of the Speaker Type to update the name or the number of contacts available.
Delete a Speaker Type
In the Speaker Type List, click on ‘Delete’ next to a ‘Speaker Type’ you wish to delete. Note - any speaker type that is already associated with a speaker in ANY event in Global Admin will not be able to be deleted.
Add a New Speaker Type
Using the ‘Add Speaker Type’ form at the bottom of the page, type in the name of the new speaker type, and the number of this type of speaker allowed per session. Click ‘Add’ to create the new speaker type.
