How to get a PAY PAL account.
Gives you the ability to process credit card payments in a2z.
You have two PayPal products to choose from:
Payflow Pro Gateway– Works with an Internet Merchant Account from your bank.
Website Payments Pro - Payflow Pro Edition – PayPal provides the Internet Merchant Account for you.
An Internet Merchant Account is a type of bank account that is needed to accept online credit card payments and is different from a standard business merchant account at a bank.
If you choose Payflow Pro Gateway you will need to set up your Internet Merchant Account with your bank prior to getting a Pay Pal account.
If you choose Website Payments Pro – Payflow Pro Edition, skip to step #2.
- Contact your Company Bank.
a. Set up an Internet Merchant Account for processing web-based credit card transactions. Discuss with your bank which credit cards your site will accept. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or other.
b. Get documentation in writing from your bank, showing all Internet Merchant Account information needed to setup a Payflow Pro Gateway.
2. Contact PayPal, in order to setup your account.
- Give a2z your new PayPal Manager Account Information.
a. PayPal User Name
b. Payflow Pro Password
c. PayPal Vendor Name/Partner Name
d. List each credit card type what will be accepted
- a2z will set up your site to process all credit card transactions safely and securely with you PayPal account.
NOTE: Once your PayPal account is set up with your a2z site, work with your PayPal Sales Account Executive for training on accessing your PayPal account online to run reports, view account transactions, and many other features they offer.
