Contacts> Settings> Contact Types
Contacts can be associated with companies with a contact type. Global Admin users can add, delete, or edit contact types using the contact type list and add contact type form.
Add Contact Type
Contact Type – The name of the new contact type. This will appear in contact type drop down in company and contact records, reports, and email-type templates.
Number of Contacts – the maximum number of this type of contact per company.
Note: Contacts with a max of one contact can be used in email hierarchies for email reports like statement, exhibitor confirmation letter, etc.
Contact Type List
- Click on either the contact id or contact type to be edited.
- Type the new name and/or number of contacts into the appropriate field.
- Click Save
Contact types that are not associated with a contact can be deleted by clicking delete in the row of the appropriate contact type name.
If a contact type should be removed and it currently in use, go to Reports>Company>Company Contact Report [add article url], and select the contact type in the search for section.
